Blue Cross in the community

As a health and travel insurance provider, Québec Blue Cross offers its expertise to organizations that help sick and disadvantaged children, including the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada and the Fondation OLO.

Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada

For more than 24 years the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada has been fulfilling the dreams of severely ill children.

Thousands of people ask the Children’s Wish Foundation to fulfill their dreams so that they have something to look forward to other than the next treatment. This dream can give them the energy and hope to go on.

For many years, Blue CrossTM has provided the medical insurance required for travel wishes. We waive the pre-existing condition for wish children. This exclusive agreement allows The Children’s Wish Foundation to provide exceptional service to wish families, ensuring they can travel anywhere in the world.

We are proud to accompany these courageous young people on their wishes and feel priviliged to be able to offer their families peace of mind.

To become a volunteer with a wish team or to make a donation, visit the Children’s Wish Foundation Web site at:, or call 1-800-267-9474.

OLO Foundation

The OLO Foundation contributes to infant health by offering eggs, milk, orange juice and vitamin supplements to economically and socially disadvantaged pregnant women.

With this support, these women can improve their diets during pregnancy, which significantly contributes to the health of the child they are carrying.

Blue Cross is actively involved in helping the OLO Foundation obtain the funding it needs to fulfill its mission.
