Why buy Blue Cross Health Insurance?
Limits of provincial health care services
Our provincial health insurance plan covers only essential medical services.
Although often necessary and quite common, the following services are not covered under your provincial public health insurance plan:
Services rendered by health professionals other than general doctors or medical specialists (chiropractor, osteopath, acupuncturist, etc.).
Eye care for persons between 18 and 64 years of age, including eye glasses and contact lenses.
Dental care services for persons over 10 years of age.
These are only a few examples. Click on the link to consult the
RAMQ Web site to view a list of the services covered and not
covered by the provincial public plan.
